You think that's bad? My radiator blew on my car on my way home yesterday. I finish in Stockport bang on 3 with a train to piccadilly and bus to leigh then lowton. I reckon it will be over by the time i'm wom. And I can't get to work in the morning either!
As everyone knows, I always look on the bright side! At least i'm not missing a Leigh or England RL game eh!

You're right on that one Fred. At least if it's the best game of football ever 4 or 5 decent things may happen. Which can be cancelled out by 1. John Terry's ratface. 2. Someone jumping round holding their face pretending they're hurt (which must annoy Tommy Goulding somewhat after last Thursday) 3. England fans taking it far too seriously 4. Not much really happens for great lengths of time. 5. Ashley Cole (this doesn't need explaining) 6. Vuvuzelas.........i could go on...........

I understand St Thomas's sent a letter out with three options: -
1. Pick your children up at 3
2. Your children can watch the 1st Half at school pick them up at HT
3. They can watch all the game at school pick them up at FT.
Sounds like a bit of forward planning to me, well done to them.

| I made sure I was off work. 
Don't know why because its not looking good for us. Watched Greece v Arg yesterday - Greece needed to win and results to go their way, and they just played the most defensive game they could and showed no ambition to go through. As Mick McCarthy says (absolute legend as a comentator IMO) how can you go out of WC without even having given it a real go ? If we do go out I hope we don't go out in similar way |

Our school doesnt do forward planning, well not properly, best one, on Wed 7th the school are doing a play Oliver, this week however theyve postponed it for its the day of the semi finals of the world cup( which if England are still inb it is all well and good) however rearrangng it for Thurs night the 8th when Leigh are live on TV at Fev................ Bit silly saying the caretaker there is one of our barmy army and If they ve have mentioned it to him he d have known, as he would be going Fev.
