Anybody know what the crack is with Andy Thornley? Seemed to remember he is on trial and training with us. Is he not actually available for selection at all? I don't suppose he is, otherwise today would have been an obvious opportunity to give him a run out.

Greg Burke is the other one on DC from Wigan, not sure how long that's planned for though.
Henderson had a decent enough game in my eyes. Should provide a good option.

As well as the two players picked out by 'Leyther Matt' , We also had a very young 16 year old stand off out there today who didn't put a foot wrong all afternoon either.
Lee Gittens also showed plenty of promise at centre.

Josh had a good game all things considered but I think it's a while before he's likely to be knocking on the first team door on a regular basis. He's got bags and bags of potential though. A little known fact is that, other than being a member of the Salmon Army, he also used to run rings round the Leythers MB team as an 8 year old |
