Considering it was Adam Swift's first hit out of the season, I thought he got up to pace very quickly. I wonder who, if anyone, Saints will let us have over Easter? We have been lucky with injuries so far, but without our Saints loan/Dc players, we are very thin on the ground. Obviously, 'our own' players will have to play at HKR on Thursday, but then expecting the same 17 to perform over two Easter games, would be a big ask.

Whilst not being a fan of D/R, I accept we have had no alternative this season. I have, however, been impressed with the quality and commitment of every single player they have sent us.

Alan, I don’t think anyone is a fan of the DR system, but we have done OK by it up to now,as you say we are thin on the ground otherwise and the Cup will show this.

Derek spoke to fans at the York game in the Bar, saying his appetite is back again, hopefully next season he will invest a bit more money then.

I’ve just been looking at players who are out of contract at the end of this season and there are some very good players on the list.Swift being one of them at Saints, I thought he did well yesterday,and hopefully Saints stay injury free all season,we will benefit from this.Getting back to Danny I think he did ok on Saturday, and is a Class player.Although Josh Woods had one of his better games yesterday.Again Marsh doesn’t convince me for Leigh.

I tend to agree - hopefully he is taking time getting used to us/this level. Whilst I have been impressed with Ian Thornley, since day one, he now seems to be blossoming into a major attacking force, showing class, as well as power. I'm also very impressed with Toby Adamson, and he puts to shame some of the high-rep. players we had in the second row last season.
