Wouldn't say the following was that bad - lower than a few other games where we've taken 3-4k away however you only have to look at the average attendances to shut down that argument (for instance why was one stand completely closed and the other 2 stands barely full - you're the ones at home not us?) - will leave it at that as nobody can really bang on about attendances, they're all pretty shocking these days.
Also not everyone has bank holidays off work and those that do might go away for a long weekend / decide to stay closer to home, go out in the morning and watch the game later in the evening.
In terms of the other 'fan' I don't believe you'll be in the championship next season, you look good enough to be able to go through the middle 8's and then focus on rebuilding for next year.

I actually thought Dereks main gripe was aimed at the inconsistency/standard of refereeing in SL right across the board as opposed to just 80 mins v Castleford.
Just as a side note, many say the number 1 referee is Phil Bentham, anyone know how many times he has refereed Leigh in SL this season?

Thought you were badly done to when the ref sent it up as a no try,when the camera clearly showed it was down, not sure if it was Acton or Patterson she!!te decision, probably wouldn't have helped but from our experiences it does leave you a touch bitter and frustrated. |
