| And still tried to throw it away at the end after our drop goal. The restart only went five meters but our lack of experience meant that instead of a penalty for us one of our players caught it and gave them chance to win the game from a half line kick.......................it was well short but could have been embarrassing.

| Thought we lack a little bit of direction and timing in attack, but considering some of the players Oldham were able to call upon from Huddersfield it was a very good result for the young lads. Good to see Platt get some minutes under his belt and Mado playing all over the place!

| Although the result doesn't mean a lot, in the overall scheme of this season, I would have thought our young side should be pleased with themselves.

| Was a bit like watching Leigh from a few years ago that, too many mistakes, not enough of a plan going forward and not really big enough. Still to be fair I still think our young lads did well today against a strong Oldham team, a side that's been pushing to get into The Championship for the last few years now; they showed they can compete at a League 1 level. Thought I've no doubt a few, if not most, of those players will get a few games this year I'm not sure if, when we have a fully fit squad, any of them would feature so I'm not too bothered about the game today.

| Tough game, Oldham just frustrated the team today and didn't allow them to play flowing rugby a few teams will struggle against them this season , Leigh youngsters kept going and ground out a hard win. As PR said the reserves could compete in championship 1 and hold there own a few youngsters in that team will go on play first grade for Leigh , Jacque peet , Corey lee ,jack Hansen to name a few, strength in depth
