I've never suggested we spend money we don't have, simply our ability as a club to generate the income to make sure we do.

Nobody disputes the effort being made, however this is of little consequence when nothing tangible is seemingly being done to market the club to all stakeholders, be they fans or potential investors. If those making the effort are not actually up to the task then at what point are they going to realise they are going nowhere fast? You can have as many volunteers busting their tripe but if the puppet master is clueless then what hope do you have of success?

You carry on doing what you do if it makes you feel important/involved, however as soon as what you are talking hits the fan do not be surprised. Without being propped up by the LSV we are no further forward than we were 18 months ago despite anything being said at the fans forum or anywhere else.

The board have made it clear they will not be putting any money in. Their time would thus be best spent finding people who may be prepared to in which case and standing aside - these people do exist and we don't need huge figures being introduced, just extra funds to cover a marketing budget controlled by a ceo who knows how to speculate to accumulate with regards to crowd numbers and other potential revenue streams.

I won't be naming anybody but know of 2 such people who refuse to work with the current board and more so the ceo.

The problem isn't Trev, he is a vital cog in the wheel that needs to deal with the unique world of WMBC.
Keith is vital, we need a lawyer on board. Phil is needed as there is nobody else.
The rest I don't understand why they are Directors, in my world the first job as a Director of a sports club is to put money in. Would LISA be treated the same if they didn't put money in every year?
We need to be creative to attract either a number of folk willing to tip in a cumulative £100k pa or a single investor to do the same. Instead we have a clear 'no money from here Guv' stance
Lets capitalise the debts/overdrafts to shares and raise cash via a shares issue - we can do so much more but it would need the PG's capitalised imo to start the ball rolling.

The Prophet, WHY haven't you ever asked these questions at the Fans Forum yet you so eloquently pose them on here for all to read? Oh I forget, that's the real world isn't it, where people actually ask question face to face rather than hiding behind some pretentious God-like identity.

Prophet raises some points for discussion, he may have another agenda but the fact remains we need to raise cash from somewhere to go forward in areas we are weak.
When we hit our time of need we didn't get any interest from individuals - why when others did in our division?
The BoD have done a fantastic job since our post Thomas implosion but how do we get to the next level? How do we create the extra cash? The world keeps moving, we can't stand still.

Trevor has opened up the income streams from LSV, and is the ultimate political animal that we have needed for years. His ability to work relationships to our benefit is brilliant, previously we created conflict and got led by our testicles as a consequence.
What we lack is cash to move forward, it is fair to expect crowds to struggle again unless the building sector comes to life - so where will that cash come from?
My visions are well documented over the years and consistent, it doesn't stop me supporting my club and respecting the results Phil, Keith and Trev have achieved.

We absolutely need to raise extra cash because without it we won't survive but most of us obviously don't live in the same world as The Prophet as we can't just magic up extra money when needed.

It peeves me because he only raises his mysterious head to have a go at the board; he obviously has a hidden agenda and it's clear to all that he has a personal gripe against Trevor - that's his prerogative, but his skewed thinking and biased posts on here have the potential to damage the club even though most of what he writes is wrong.

I don't know who's feeding him the info but he's claiming to know what goes on there yet he obviously hasn't got a clue.

I respect you Maurice because you're not afraid to put yourself out there; everyone knows who you are and you tell it like you see it. I might not agree with everything you say but I respect your right to say it regardless of who agrees or disagrees with it.

However, a man who lurks in the shadows without the bottle to stand up and be counted is a coward. A keyboard warrior at it's worst and one who should be treated with the contempt he deserves.

Just watched Leigh v Fev NRC Feb 2010 to remind myself that they can be beaten ,score 36 6 plus held up 4 times and fluffed 2 ,Leigh played great in attack and defence .
