We have a fantastic stadium in a great location, a great relationship at last with LSV Co and a huge populus within 5 miles to attract.'"
Mo , you forgot we're also in a prime location for commuting to the metropolises of Manchester and Liverpool . Can we attract these new interlopers down to the LSV that aren't grounded in the game ? .
Sorry for appearing a little Leyther but we're going to need a sustained 5 year plus plan that isn't going to break the bank before we can get that foothold in the SL , that is if and when the muppets at Red Hall finally see sense and bring back P & R .
I do have ambitions to see a healthy Leyth team in the SL but I fear it will come at a cost , so I hope that we can come up with a cunning plan to prepare ourselves to be a yo-yo club for a few years yet retaining any quality players we can attract and set our goal no higher than 2nd bottom of the SL initially so that we can build up gradually without going pop .
I agree though that with the bigger games will come bigger crowds and therefore more money to spend on the squad , I just hope we can get the right team behind the scenes to manage the dosh and not go all in for an all or nothing approach .
But hey ho let's give it a go . It just needs carefull planning .
