Phone them Frank, play along as they will "fish" for a company you have had a loan with and when you mention it they will be off saying how wonderful they are . When they transfer you to the next person in the chain just hang up. I've not had a call about PPI since I did this about 3 months ago.
Did this again last week about carbon credits and pushed them to tell me which type of carbon credits they were selling, when I asked if they were the valuable ones or the worthless ones they hung up on me - cheeky baskets.
