Enter the Gladiator for me too, it's different and it's traditional, I couldn't care less what opposition fans think of it. Definitely sends chills down my spine in a way that Jeff Beck never will.
Really annoys me when people think that We will Rock you or the Boys are back in town is a great idea, bit predictable isn't it, these are the same people who probably go to a wedding and ask the dj for some abba or brown eyed girl....
As for Kasabian or Fat Boy Slim, that will soon sound dated if it doesn't already.
has anyone suggested the other flavour of the month, Kaiser Chiefs, please don't ?!
Quote: Michael_Ward "It's the clown music. No getting past that.
It's part of the clubs history, but unless I'm instructed to by the club then I won't be using entrance of the gladiators for entrance music.
Tradition for traditions sake is rarely helpful (IMHO). Being mocked by opposition fans as 'the comics' is not really something that I wish to promote, not to mention all our younger [potential] fans wondering why we come out to clown music.
This is, of course, my opinion and not the clubs. If I'm told differently then I'll do as they ask...'"
Agree ! plus what about playing a snippet of say ... Titanium ( chorus ) or Levels the part when he sings " Oh sometimes I get a good feeling " when we score a try .
Im reliving my youth at the Railway End at Hilton Park , happy days Stan Owen , Bill Robby , Gordon Lewis , then Rodney Tickle , and of course the Gladiator Song.
