Greenalghs scotch pies take some beating ! Anybody ever try the meat pies from beasleys butchers on A6 in westhoughton they sadly don't do em anymore but you needed a bib on with those rascals they were that juicy. Awesome !

A Yates and Greers 'GROWLER' straight out of their oven with a brew (we used to have this at 7am brew at the 'nick' when I first started as it was my job as the new 'rookie' (until Mick Lynch came along ) to get the pies and make the brews (it was in the early 70's though)
