Well done to each and every one of the lads that have pulled on a jersey this season. It has been a delight seeing you all develop and there will have been friendships made this season that will last a lifetime.

This is a young Leigh team. The fact they came within 80 minutes of a GF after winning two tense play-off games must not be forgotten. I know the lads have given me a lot of enjoyable moments this season.

This one was 44-18 but it didn't fully reflect the game. Widnes led 16-6 at HT, Leigh hit back to go in font and then ran out of steam in the last twenty. Well done to Widnes as well on making a Grand Final.

Yes the last 20 minutes wer telling but how much did the game change after that try leigh scored and the linesman disallowed?.

that was a bad call as it was a widnes player who hit the corner flag,could have gone either way if that would of stood as leigh were on a good run at that moment
