I think because its a quarter final in the NRC the adult price is right IMO, The only 'offer' I would have gone for is accompanied children in for a £1.00 and £5.00 for Under 16's.
However......
AFAIK the free 100 Family tickets are courtesy of Leigh Centurions who are trying to get people in to watch Leigh that haven't been before, it was in a email from the club to those on the mail list.
This is a massive positive by the club.....its aimed at current Leigh fans who may know a family who have never been to a Leigh match or only the odd game to pass on the info for them to get free Quarter Final Family tickets.
Possibly it could've been promoted more (maybe something on our website about it) but if most people on the mail list know of a family it could well be a success in anyhow which shows the potential we have.
With the majority of our league games now being free of charge to children it might be worth putting something in the programme or slip it in the local press interviews about the match to try and kickstart it.
Well done to Leigh for starting to get the ball rolling in getting our average supporter age down and trying to ensure the club will always have a future , it won't happen overnight but with offers such as 100 families for free, the CO-OP Children for free games and the work of our award winning community department in the areas schools the tide WILL turn and we'll slowly see results.
Things are really improving at our club both on & off the field
