One I saw in a Jewellers in Leigh "Ears pierced while you wait". Like you can leave them and go off shopping, and pick them up later?
One in the local village down here, on a Transit van of a lady who does ironing services - "White Van Gran" ....
Back in the Seventies, one of the first Indian restaurants to open in a suburb of Birmingham - "The Shirley Temple" ....
But my absolute favourite - a corner shop in a village called 'Knockin' just South of Oswestry - 'The Knockin Shop' .... (it's true, I swear - see for yourself rlhttps://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2064rl)

That's just genius!
It's now taken over as the screen saver on Stockport Station. It used to be Hilton Park.
Remember the shop 'Spitting Feathers, Open All Weathers'? It had a line on the front that was i think 'Our beer makes you feel single and see double!'
