We have Robbie Paul, one of the biggest "known faces" in our sport, well respected - get him on board with sorting out the Junior Centurions club , involve it as a family deal with a fantastic matchday experience for familys to meet up.
Imagine, 2 'Mums' meeting up for a natter / brew at the match whilst the kids meet there (injured) RL hero's who signs there recently purchased programme or there recently purchased Leigh top whilst 'Dads' have a pint in the bar (having got there early 'to make a day of it')- spend, spend , spend.
We have Ian Millward, one of the best "known faces" in our sport, 'man of the fan' - get him on board to attract the 14 - 25year olds in, get them in the bars, get them involved in club nights / race nights, get him into the amateur club circuit, well liked "tells it how its is", the man is a marketing gold mine, like Robbie.
Yet v Batley we had the RFL "arranged" offer (and it was a good one) of 25quid, how many people in Leigh knew - or worse how many people cared
Leigh have to do better than now, the players and coaching staff are doing the best selling of the lot by playing attractive RL that gets results, a push in the off field stakes is long long overdue, starting with familys and the Children as a major priority.
