u17s 8 v 74 wigan st pats
miners 17s travelled to st pats this morning with a bare 13, the lads started the brighter and were on top for the first 20 minutes and were unlucky to be losing 10-0 after a couple of dodgy decisions saw pats take the lead. miners hit back with a try with centre martin slater racing away from 60 yards to get miners back into the game at 10-4. as the game went on the lads tired and an excellent st pats side ran in some nice trys to give them a commanding victory. stand off ryan monaghan scored miners other try. it was always going to be a tough game against a very good st pats side and the 13 lads who turned up worked there socks off and didnt deserve to be on the end of such a scoreline. keep your heads up lads, stick together i know its tough at the moment but keep working hard and giving your all and you will get your rewards.
