| Quote: Dick Jones "Quote: Dick Jones "And East lost by how many ????'"
They lost by 14 why?
I only said I wanted East to win and thats because my lad plays for East, or are people not allowed to choose who they support these days.'"'" wow, how touchy, I only asked

| From a neutrals point of view it was a good game played by two good teams. Miners defence was outstanding as has already been said and essentially won them the game. Both sides showed some early season rustiness and lack of cohesion in attack but on this showing both teams will trouble a lot of teams this season. Well done both sides a cracking advert for amateur RL.

| Top game must admit, the miners bombed a couple of tries in the first half also, but overall i think it was a great advert for amateur rugby well done to both teams.
