they are not to blame at all, it is up to the employer to ensure that all of their employees are legally entitled to work in this country. as an employer myself i have to show due diligence when employing anyone new, this takes the form of photocopying passports, national insurance cards and working visas. it is up to me to prove i have done this, not up to my employees.
