Sometimes it's important to recognise that you have been beaten by a better, well coached team. That happens in sport. If Rowley went after the referee after the game it's disgraceful. How can you expect your players to be composed under pressure if your coach is cracking up. My mate went to the game and said the Leigh supporters where fantastic. He also said Gateshead where the better, well drilled team and deserved the win, however Leigh finished the game stronger.

He wasn,t the best but I thought that touch judge and you,ll know which one, was so incompetant AND unfit short sighted and useless was the worst I have seen in sometime.He,ll know who he is just by reading this.

I thought Leigh gave away some poor penalties that led to gatehead points.
Apart from Donlans try, what annoyed me the most was Gatehead holding down in the tackle and turtling through out the whole game, without punishment.

i didnt go but listening on gmr phil kinsella said gateshead were getting the rub of the green on decsions and that they were constantly holding down and that the penalty for obstruction on donlans try was in fact two gatesheaad players running in to each other, i also think we need to improve our disipline because refs are pre judging us as a team that give away penalties and blowing for the slightest reason, we arent however a dirty team most of the penalties are for technical offencesyou could tell by the emotion in rowleys voice what he really thought and i think he choose his words carefully. having said all that i would have been happy with a bonus point before the game, well done lads i getting that against 14 men
