Gateshead have now conceded an average of almost 40 points a game this season. They really do need to tighten up their defence if they are to move up the league ladder. They managed to score about 30 points last week as well, but also conceded 38, even on their own ground. They are far too easy to break down.

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing

So you wouldnt accept us winning every game from now on by just 1 point then? I would, like Starbug said we didnt 'thrash' many in 81/82 and we certainly didn't back in 70/71 and those are suppose to be two of our best ever seasons.
