| Rumours on Redface home of the conspiracists*that he has signed a 2 year deal with them. Presumably with blessing of our club given they can’t approach till May otherwise.

| No doubt they have designs on Clark. The issue is whether he will get a massively improved deal over there. They won’t be offering more than a 2 year deal I’m sure, and neither will we. It’s a case of whether their deal is enough to outweigh the testimonial he’d be getting here. Clark also seems to be enjoying his rugby again under Powell.
Wouldn’t surprise me to see Wigan move for him as well to give them a bit more dimension in attack.

Rumours no doubt started by his own agent. It's Toby King all over again isn't it. Is it the same agent?

The difference to Toby King is that Darryl Clark is a proven top quality player that would get in any side in SL.

| I'm not surprised that there's interest in him, as he seems to be free of the injuries that have held him back in the previous two seasons. Alternatively, the cynical would say he's playing for a new deal.

| For the past two seasons I've advocated getting rid of Clark simply for the fact that the money we were spending on him could be utilised better elsewhere. Clark has been excellent so far this season and even at his worst for us (last 2 seasons) he was usually a 7/10.
There's a dearth of players that have Clark's consistency (and now versatility) and though no longer worth marquee money I would be making him a very good offer. His testimonial will be worth a years wages, he'd have to think hard about turning that down. I would not like to see him in a Saints shirt.

| Unless saints are willing to offer a multiplier contract, there's no way they're getting him.

| He’d be a big miss and great signing for any club, even on a 3 year deal….
I’d be very surprised if we let him go. Powell likes him, and he’s done himself no harm with his ability to switch to 13 and do a good job.
He’s deserving of his testimonial, never has his effort and application come into question, even in some of our darker periods! - I hope he’s here to enjoy it.

| Was slightly concerned to see him clutching his shoulder in the second half.

| I think we'd be daft if we let him go, seems to have sorted his body out of all the niggles he had and behind a big pack, as expected has found top form again. There'll not be a shortage of other clubs trying to sign him so i hope we pull our finger out and extend his contract.

| Well he was definitely signing for Saints according to a couple on Redvee but now it seems Leeming is at Gold Coast till end of season and then 3 year deal with saints, rumours Cluedo as started early.

| Not really worth getting our knickers in a twist for this rumour. Let's enjoy this season first and may his magnificent form continue.

Yes, I agree.
We definitely shouldn`t get involved in a bidding war to keep him.
Clark`s 10 year Testimonial should be enough to clinch a deal with him, together with a realistic pay offer within our Salary Cap restrictions..

| I hope he is happy here and wants to stay on with us. I wouldn't like to see him in one of those scruffy homebargains kits next season.
