2022 is the 20 Year anniversary of Squadbuilder. We are so proud to support the development, coaching and promotion of young rugby players at all levels in the town. This includes aiding local Community Clubs, schools, and colleges, as well as the Scholarship, Academy and Reserves at Warrington Wolves. We are delighted to work with the Youth Development Team led by Gary Chambers who is supported by Richard Marshall and Tyrone McCarthy and their staff. Their experience, wealth of knowledge and passion for the club are priceless in their quest to develop our homegrown Warrington Wolves players.
Squadbuilder has donated over £225,000 since its inception in 2002, supporting the Wolves Youth Development Team, The Wolves Foundation Community team, the England Talent Pathway and the Community Clubs, funding the training and education of players and coaches and the donation of equipment. This is only possible by the support of our fantastic members who make regular contributions and from our fund-raising events like our Annual Quiz Night and Fans Day. Squadbuilder was instrumental in the development of Academy Graduate logo which each homegrown first team player proudly displays on their match day playing shirts above their Heritage number. We know each of our graduates wear this logo with great pride. We want as many Homegrown players at the club as possible and are delighted to support their pathway to being a professional rugby player.
Squadbuilder is so proud to have supported the development of homegrown players such as Kevin Penny, Chris Riley, Mike Cooper, Tyrone McCarthy, Ben Currie, Joe Philbin and very recently Leon Hayes.
