I've moaned about him a lot in the past but if this is a new Jason Clark under Powell then I'm all for it. I didn't know he could pass, defence has been brilliant and he's fighting for fast PTB. Probably been our best so far, between him and walker. Definitely the best I can remember I've seen from J Clark anyway.

What's the deal with a set restart for a flop vs being able to go for two?

Not going to lie was worried the way they were rolling down the field and we had no go forward in that first 15 mins, but with good defence we weathered that well.

Not a bad first half, we've not really been bossed in the middle were ahead and if we're a bit more brave in attack we should score more, were getting offloads but not capitalised on it yet I want is to burst into action and bust a gut to get up and support the ball carrier

We look so weak down the middle. No extra yards gained in the tackle (which Hillwas a master at). This will kill us against bigger and better sides.

However, in broken play, we look very lively, particularly Matautia and Currie. At last, some open rugby, not seen since circa 2013

Bullock was good when he came on, certainly added some bulk. I can't remember a player punch above their weight at a young age like longstaff does, he's some talent.

Decent half, good defence and the line started to move which has made us look a lot better.

I agree, I've bagged him, not seen anything in him in previous seasons but he's been great tonight so far, fingers crossed its how powell has asked him to play and that's the 2022 Clarke on show tonight.

That try from Cas is what we had about 6 attempts at doing in the first half, with no success. We need more moves in us to get some points in this game
