| Was blatantly obvious to everyone(bar price!)that he was seriously injured and not fit in the Hull kr game.

| Was pretty clear he wasn't right, but to play on with that is crazy. Walker was more than capable of filling in (assuming he didn't have fitness issues as well)

| Knowing that now it's baffling that thewlis wasn't at fullback and ratchford/ Clark sharing 9 like they did against Cas! Ashton or Charney on the wing vacated by Thewlis.that depending how bad Walker was as well obviously.
As mentioned previously, I'm also glad he's gone, 2 years overdue IMO.

| Thankfully Price is back to his forte of putting out cones and drilling defence next year.

| No wonder I've been disappointed with Clark for most of this season, he's been well and truly crocked and playing with injuries.
Get fit soon DC!

| I think the NRL ship has now sailed for Clark (to our advantage)
Let's face it, he's not getting any younger, and, his body is getting a bit "shot at". Maybe he's better off in SL. From the little I see of NRL, he's still streets ahead of that plodder who keeps denying him a GB/England shirt. That's like going for a Sunday drive in a 5 year old Toyota Corolla, when you've got a much better car in your own garage.

| I think you're right lefty, but I hope DC isn't going to end his career with a lot of regrets.
I wonder if he looks back at the decision to join us so young and thinks if he could have his time again he wouldn't have done that. I know the deal was probably pressed by financial necessity for Cas so he might not have had much choice. But he could have had a different career path at one of the top clubs here, won a couple of GFs, then gone to the NRL and been a star over there. I wonder if Chris Hill feels the same way. These guys have given a lot of service to Wire, and their careers have been worse off for it. We have to sort this out.

Bottled finals with both in the team that’ll be their biggest regrets I would imagine

You make decisions presumably with your eyes open and accept there are no guarantees in life. No one put a gun to their heads to sign the initial contract and that is even more so in relation to contract extensions. Hill had a good move to us and without hindsight there was no guarantee he would succeed (see A England).
As for DC, wouldn’t have wanted to play 2nd fiddle to Roby and Saints wouldn’t have paid big bucks for him. Hetherington at Leeds too tight, Wigan had McIlorum with the next big hope Powell in the wings.
Life is complicated.

Sunday drive in a 5 year old Toyota Corolla down Wilderspool Causeway? Luxury, we had to drink out of a rolled up newspaper at half time, crowd into a gents wi' no roof on it, all hundred and twenty six of us, and then watch Tommy Cunningham play for another 40 minutes. But you try and tell the young people today that.... and they won't believe ya'.
