| And yet only two of them make the dream team??? Unsure how Lomax gets into both MOS running and dream team this season.

Only seen Tomkins play on the Sky TV games this season but to me he is the standout player of those listed.
Don`t know if Wigan would have allowed him to sign for Wire when they released him, but I would have loved to see him play halfback for us.

| In order to get MoS you need two things;
Play for a club with a good win percentage.
Be the stand out player for that club.
If you are winning each week but there are several players putting in MoM performances then you'll do less well. You need an element of 'big fish in a small pool'.

| I'm guessing as Widdop didn't make the 'Dream Team' his chance of winning MoS are the same as Wires winning this year's GF

| It should be between Tomkins and Abdull IMO. The rest are a long way back on those 2.

| I'm sorry, but that list is just a damning indictment of what SL has become.
It's like buying a dream home, and deciding to paint every room in beige.

| TBH given how they do the weekly scoring, it's the effort of the players themselves that gets them the MoS points - so the nominees are those who have demonstrated consistent performance, rather than just being the 'superstars'.
