Matt Davis has jumped from 19 to 15 and is now sponsored by The Borrowers. On a more serious note perhaps Danny Walker should keep a careful eye on him.

No surprises 1 - 12. Philbin at 13 would beef up the starting 13.

With everyone fit I can't see the bench being made up of 14 - 17. More likely a couple of props (prelim pecking order looks to be Mulhern > Akauola > Butler) then 2 from J Clark, Davis, Walker and Ashton. I'd play Ashton on the bench as, with both Ashton and Ratchford, you are covered 1 - 7.

Mamo on the bench gives far more option in the backs and he’s not so far behind Ashton in speed either. Ashton is a great prospect, but was still raw. 2 props and Davis. Davis plays way above his weight, but I’m equally happy with Jace Clark.
Sorry but Walker doesn’t get in to my bench currently but Walker to come straight in the 13 if Daz Clark is injured or tested.

Agreed RD, mamo covers centre as well but Ashton doesn't.

I'd prefer Davis to cover Hooker if Clark isn't doing 80 minutes.

I’m not sure that philbin getting the 13 means he’s going to play at loose or start most games there . I think he will play his usual roll of interchange prop . Clark will be starting loose IMO

Lefty, I think the only solution is for you to win Euro Millions, buy an RL club and put in a bid for them.

If he doesn’t start, Wire once again will not be winning SL. It’s imperative Wire run 3 props with at least 2 prop interchanges to lead SL and take top into the GF.
I’ve beat my drum over and over, on the poor prop start and bench rotation and above all, Wire’s failure to sign props in 2020 and more over the last 3/4 years, be it Fitzpatrick fault or not...which I think it is.

We’ve had the a couple of the best backs the NRL could muster within the last 2 decades, and still fail behind a light pack. Packs win games, backs decides by how much.
