Currie to half back for the playoffs worth another go?

The Price interview after the Leeds game suggested that both Patton and Philbin are doubts for Thursday's game against Cas.

Frankly I'd rather see Hill or Cooper at halfback ahead of Smith.

i would rather have quasimodo at halfback than matty smith, he has more chance of ringing someones bell before smith.

On current form i wouldnt have any of our half backs, and i include Austin in that sentence!! We need a massive performance Thursday. Still stuggling to come to terms with finishing 4th in what was a 2 horse race 3 months ago!!

Cas are done. I'd be amazed if you let them score more than one or two tries. At home, you should have plenty for them.

Unless Mr Price really does have a cunning plan , i don't know where we are going to get a good performance from. We may have to just limp to the final & hope we can pull something out of the bag at Old Trafford.

Glad Smith isn’t playing, as I’ve said in other threads probably one of the worst signings we’ve had, given the fact we have released & move players on to get in him in the side makes it even worse. He’s just not up it at this level anymore for me.

I think it might another Trueman show Thursday night, we need to shut him down like Wigan did last week if we want to win this game.

If we are in need of a half back would it not be good for Riley Dean to step up again, would do him good and maybe give Cas something different to think about?

Not to Riley...if Patton isn't ready...we go with the already successful Currie/Hughes.
Riley will get his chance...but not in 2019 for me.
