Yes I know lots are still celebrating but with the short turn around no training till Tuesday we must have big changes for this game. I’m expecting Clark to definitely miss out and Burrell, Livett and Westwood to play and maybe a few others to.

As many have said, including fans from other clubs, it is disgraceful that we should have to play an important game on the Thursday after Wembley. Yes Sky effectively funds the sport but there are 10 other clubs playing this week who have had a weeks rest. Surely one of their fixtures could have been televised. The RLL / Super League are gutless.

As Karetaker has said, there must be changes if nothing else to support player welfare. In another universe I would rest Coops, Hilly, Clark and Ratch but we will see I suppose. The downside is that a win at Salford would be extremely useful if not much needed.

Yeah i agree with this, get the squad changed for 1 week and come back strong the following week.
I'd let Austin have as long as he needs, there's no need to rush him so let him heal.

It’s ridiculous we have to play 4 days after, it’s going to massively dent our chances of keeping second place. A lot of players could of done with a couple days rest but looks like they will have play abit busted..

We might rest a couple of forwards and expect Smith to come back in half back ahead of Hughes. We owe Salford after embarrassing us at the HJ a couple times this year. Shame that we will have to do without Austin for a few weeks longer.

Last year we tonked Hull after losing the CC, I think it'll actually be a lot harder after winning the CC.

I don't really mind though. Yesterday was incredible and we'll start building momentum to the playoffs soon.

I could no way see the same 17 as Saturday, they were running on empty at the end and the short turn round is not enough recovery time after a game like that,a lot different than the Easter period.

I agree with the changes proposed above.
They didn't do badly against Saints in the league and I honestly can't see any of the 1 to 17 being anywhere near 100% ready either physically or emotionally.

I don't want to lose against Salford but thinking of the big picture I think it's the right way to go.

I know how knackered they were. But all best players must go again if OK.

I'd select our most capable 17, whatever Price thinks is right.

Try and get the players up for a big league performance then give them 3 days rest afterwards.

Thursday is a tough ask, thanks a lot Sky. I think we'll see some changes in the pack, with some of the previous list coming in, and some of the Wembley starting 13 on the bench, and vice versa.

I reckon most would get more "real pleasure" from beating Salford than having that extra last drink or two. I think our boys will be pretty focused. Any silly can get blotto ... but there is more to be done.

Price was, from what I've seen and heard over last 24 hours the players are already there! I've already accepted Thursday as a write off, if we win it will be another one against the odds

Was it a bit unprofessional to be drinking today? Probably.
Do I begrudge them? Absolutely not.

Stupid scheduling. Trophies should be celebrated.

They've all got official training off until Wednesday according to Lineham.

Smith, Westwood, Tasi, Walker, livett, Burrell, dean, thewlis etc can all play on Thursday. We can still put out a decent side(not that I'm expecting a win!!)
