| The guy is world class and the best 9 in the world for me alongside Damien Cook. Thank God he's tied down to a long term contract. His performance today was absolutely phenomenal.

| 100%.
It must have meant a lot to him after three previous cup final defeats and having been so good in a losing display in 2016. A complete freak of a player, brilliant.

| He has been our standout player all season. I don’t watch NRL so can’t compare but he should be starting hooker for the Lions. How he makes some of his breaks is a mystery to me (and the opposition).

| The man is a machine, his fitness levels must be off the meter, absolutely astonishing athlete.
He wiped the floor with Roby.

| I have a fear that the NRL will come knocking for Clark, and he might fancy it. Especially if he’s overlooked for GB.
Hodgson, when in the UK, was an average hooker at the level of Tommy Lee and Shaun Lunt etc. and he gets picked time and time again. While the NRL may have improved him, if Clark was to be held on the same scale, he would be significantly better than him.
I wouldn’t begrudge him the opportunity, as he’s given his all for us and we owe him a debt of gratitude. But we would really need to find an excellent replacement if it was to happen.

| A changing of the guard yesterday for me.Roby has been fantastic for a very long time and still is but for me Clark has overtaken him now. Magnificent, again.

Agreed, Roby looked shot at times. Where as Clarke was a constant nuisance and was making last ditch tackles at the end of each 40. I’m surprised they didn’t play Bentley on the bench to spell him, he wasn’t nearly as potent as he usually is but tbh a lot of the Saints players had poor games though.

I can imagine Eddie Hemmings sat at home yesterday afternoon, with tears in his eyes.
