| Everyone is pist in more than one way this Xmas as lots of shirts are flawed.
Poor lining up of the bands at the seams. They really are a poor show for a new contact.

| They're probably designed for players ie. people whose chest measurement is larger than their stomach measurement.

| Can I just chip in here?
To date I've read some 5hite on the facebook fans pages etc etc, some demanding compensation from the club and people getting hugely angry with their shirts.
I didn't get any of the shirts as presents over the Xmas period so I can only imagine that people would feel disappointed with the quality of the tops once unwrapped, but the quality isn't due to the club.....its the manufacturer. Demanding anything other than refunds or exchanges from the club is ludicrous.
I got vouchers instead for Xmas and popped in, roughly, on the 28th and bought the home shirt and a leisure top in the away colours. Both tops were spot on and, in fact, I was stood next to someone returning their faulty shirt and the lady behind the counter had no issues exchanging it for one without the problem, no arguments / no problems / straight forward. Yes its an inconvenience to exchange but the club is doing what it can to sort the problem out.

| It's not a good look though, first attempt, club made big thing about announcing it, you'd think these would be spot on. First impressions and all that.
I guarantee we wont be having hoops next season.

Good point FMC, couldn't agree more. Doesn't bode well for O'Neills moving forward that they couldn't get it right first time. Just saying that the club are doing what they can to keep paying customers happy given the substandard kits they've been provided.

| There again.
I can be happy with a substandard return for 1/2 price.

I've not read the FB comments, but the contract of sale is between the customer and Warrington Wolves. The club are responsible for appointing a supplier that can deliver a quality product and the club are responsible for the quality of the goods. If I buy something from M&S and it's not right, I take it up with M&S - not a sweat shop in Turkey. If there are repeated occurrences I stop buying from M&S.
However a lot of people have got smart now and realise that the club has established a reputation for supplying shirts of low-average quality and steer well clear.

Noted, but the club is doing what it can to sort the problem out, customers are returning their tops and the club is replacing them....as you say, the contract is between the customer and Warrington wolves.
However, you wouldn't take your product back to M&S for poor quality and demand compensation.......as some people on Facebook are ridiculously suggesting!
To be honest, I've bought every home and away kit for a considerable period now and the only one in recent memory that I'd class as being low-average quality, was the Canterbury one that seemed to have masses of spare material between the shoulders and the neck hole (forget what year that was 2010 I think).

Good lord, really ? What damages do they wish to claim for? The law will only cover restitution to the position you were in before you bought the shirt.
I appreciate the club are doing their best after the event, but it's not as if we haven't had this before. Remember "Bobblegate".

Bobblegate being the 2004 shirt? The one with the 'burning cat'??

| To be fair I took mine back because the sizing was a little off.... and i needed an extra large
I hadn't noticed the mis-alignment of the hoops on one side until a mate told me to check.
to be fair i didn't want the shirt in the first place it is by far the worst since the 'free with season ticket' jersey it was actually meant to resemble.. So in fairness a pretty authentic job by o'neills
But I haven't had a shirt for a couple of years now and was concerned I would start to look a bit trendy and retro wearing my older jerseys.
perish the thought i may even ditch the jerseys altogether and wear a fine Fred Perry t-shirt or a Lyle and Scott sweater or whatever 1980's fashion items myself and the Casuals wore back in the 1980's when we were teenagers...
so I simply took mine back to the store, and as the club have ordered o'neills to supply error free Shirts, my new shirt is in the store waiting for me to pick it up.
no need to freak out....
