But there is still too much damaged goods being brought in from down under.OK for a quick fix maybe but the long term plan for rugby league in Britain has to come through the ranks but i doubt if there is the will or the money to carry that out. The NRL isn't exactly overflowing with great players who want to come over here & do an honest days work.

Lets see if he actually does regret doing what he did :- going home at the end of the season, and not wanting to come back! It's not like he walked out half way through a season. When he played for us, he was the best player in the league, by a mile. IF we can get him wanting to play for us he would be a massive asset - worth the risk 100% - name another half back in the world with his potential that is available !!

I don't know about the moral iasues here, but I tell you it would make a great Rocky-style film.
