3-4 weeks by the look of it so he'll miss Salford, Hull KR, Bradford and possibly Huddersfield. He'll be missed but we should be able to negotiate those games without him with luck.

I believe BMM may have been playing through the majority of this season with a knee injury and now that we have some form under out bely and a run of "easier" games now is the ideal time to get his knee right and he that he's in perfect fitness for the important half of the season.

Whilst desirable for players to be as effective for long periods, if you go back to the all conquering Bradford bulls side of early super league, they had both Joe vagana and Paul Anderson who were used as ten to fifteen minute wrecking balls.

So as long as we've got the personnel surrounding him to accommodate this, its not necessarily a problem.

I have no qualms with a player like Sita coming on, running like a freight train for 10 minutes and going off. Especially midway through each half. It takes energy out the opposition and softens up their middle which allows us to better control the speed of the game as well as the ruck.

.....most effectively it completely alters the rhythm of the game for the opposition just when they think they have the measure of us.

I’d honestly play Atkins as an interchange impact second rower with Goodwin and TKing as centres. It will be nothing new to him because his whole game is that of a second rower but one position further out at centre.
