| Damn it, what a shame. Just hope K Brown is okay and Roberts perks up during the week.

| I’m wondering why with the kind of injury he had that he doesn’t have strapping on to protect it.

| Could have been worse but it's still a worry, it's the second time in what 12? games that he's re injured the same knee.
I guess we'll move Hughes to the left BMM to right and Westwood to remain at loose? Don't want to see Westwood in the 2nd row, nowhere near agile or mobile enough for us anymore for that position.

| Hughes and BMM to start, maybe philbin in second row off the bench? I'd say that's worth a shout. Westwood would be fine too but with the 4 main props fit and philbin playing well when he has played that would be rewarding form for me.

| The injury to Currie is very worrying. He got injured v Wigan without any contact from the opposition. He just jinked a bit and it went. It just shows that all the work in the gym done over the months (building up his surrounding muscles) cannot replicate the movement of a man who gets the ball in his hands and does a little side-step.

you'd think he'd be doing that type of thing, lateral movements and change of direction in training though to test it out.
Its not all weight machines

| I know it seems obvious, but do we know its a recurrence of the ACL injury? The report just says he's aggravated an old knee injury.....
Its probably the same one but could it be unrelated perhaps?
I'm hoping so

Dead right ... he'd definitely be jinking about etc. but I've seen lots in the past who are OK in training but then breakdown when it comes to the crunch. I was hoping that with modern methods that this would not happen.

| From what I understand about ACL injuries is the knee is never as good again. Some peoples career is finished by it, some their career is blighted by it. Remember Mike Greg struggled throughout the latter parts of his career. I hope Ben Currie can recover.

| Hope I am wrong, but I fear he's finished! He looks totally bereft of confidence with his leg...its has had an impact on his game....looks scared to death everytime he goes into a tackle....the seriousness of the injury coupled with the mental scare might mean he never plays the same again...which is wretched bad luck....Mark Roberts springs to mind..sport is a cruel mistress at times.

| I hope he is ok. He has been a real threat these last couple of games.
Rather than start switching things around and swapping players would it not be better to throw Louis Johnson in at left second row.
He is probably about the same age as Currie when he first broke into the team.
We can make do and mend until Currie is back but that will just force us to rush Currie back. Give the lad some SL game time and we may end up with another Ben Currie after 20 ganes anyway.
BMM is far more effective off the bench anyway.
Hughes was starting to look ok on the right
