Not a fan of Sky, but I suppose this is positive news for the game as it will give the NRL a higher profile.

Even staunch Union fans are amazed by the quality on show, especially in State of Origin, and the general public are more likely to come across it on this channel than Premier Sports.

Saves paying for 2 different channels aswell.

Do they promise to play entertaining RL?

Probably be robotic tosh, as it's been for the last few years.
Might have it on in the background, should I be my usual insomniac self on a Saturday morning. Do their commentators still SCREAM over each play, like it's a match winning try in the last seconds of a GF, even though it's just a routine drive

Rather that than Hemmings and Cummings, what drivel they both spout.

It’s not as entertaining as it once was. The game has changed and not for the better. There’s a hell of a lot of short drop off passing and one out hit ups. The days of free flowing passing and edge of the seat play is diminishing by the year.

With Union trying everything they can to try and speed their game up and get more of a passing game, and League dulling down, the trajectory of both sports as an entertainment is starting to worry me.

I’m worried about Wire having Price as coach and being boring like so many NRL teams have become.
