Great signing , play wing centre or half back and full back

Not that Pomeroy will be on mega bucks, but with 2 mid season signings it would be interesting to know how far under the salary cap we were at the start of the season and whether this years performance was a cost gamble that's backfired.

He's only played a handful of times at centre, he's played the majority of his career on the wing, I think that's why we've signed Pomeroy for the rest of the year and will bring in a centre for next year. Hopefully Kevin Naiqama as he is my ideal signing so I pray he does sign for us

Solid. A meh signing. He will come without the unwarranted Sims fanfare due to your league position which is good for him. He can just go about his business without unrealistic expectation.

If he is as good as the unheralded Chris Hicks I will be a happy chappy

To be as good as Hicks though we'd need to see some decent half-back and centre play. Hicks was fantastic but he did have Briers, King and Bridge inside him, so we were always destined to see the best of him.

Ratchford will be full-back, Hiku most likely at centre so who will the first choice half backs be (assuming we stay up)? Patton has potential to be a regular top drawer player, but what's the plan for the other half back spot. I guess we have to justify Brown's wages.

My hope is that we HAVE a plan for the other halfback position
