Will we come back from our narrow defeat with a point to prove and win handsomely or have the cup loss hangover?
I hope the lads can kick on and win the next 5 games so they can at least say they gave themselves the best chance.

We were unlucky? We were robbed? We battled against massive odds?
No. The time for proving anyone wrong for this team and the management has long passed. They've been found out and all we can hope is they muddle through and scrape enough points to ensure this season isn't the worst in our history.

I hope the former but like today I don't think that it will be enough to make top 8 I don't think Huddersfield winning helped our cause.
However, I think it will set us up for a run in the middle 8's and before anyone starts it isn't ideal/good enough but imagine going into the next phase with a continuation of defeats.....a nightmare that may happen yet |

Yeah I know. I mean a point to prove in terms of "we are not easy beats anymore, we have a bit of grit even if we are not coached well". I've resigned myself to the fact we are stuck with Agar and Smith so I am trying to find some positive. Clearly the players today fancied a trip to Wembley more than they fancied winning the last 4 games. |

Playing outside the elite with lower division teams will be the worst season ever....no coach has ever took us to this depth since 1879..is it?
To play middle 8s is a disaster.
