| I could go through the whole team but I think I may start the onsort of depression. Joking aside....ill start with just recent signings and I'll included Agar.
TS needs to break up the love and find a new squash partner....other than the lift from Sandow...we could argue we've gone backwards ever since his arrival.
Cooper...very disappointed to see he has started here exactly where he left off....none of the NRL hype he was tagged with. I wasn't heartbroken when he left but I was thrilled with the return...so for he letting himself down, average at best...come on Coops for love sake pull your finger out.
Hughes...he started well, what has Agar coached in to him or out of him?... and playing him back at centre ....he and his flank partner Russell are turnstiles.
Brown....the lad is completely out of his depth and comfort zone with the responsibility he had now at a big club. He obviously isn't the Lee Briers or a Danny Brough replacement we thought he'd be, he needs a quick think halfback partner to do the stuff he cannot. Patton is more a 6 than 7 and the two dont balance...the same can be said about Gidley, more a 6 than 7. The whole hb combo is failed.
Out next signing has to come for morale and purpose...we are desperate for a 7 and 3.

Why would Zak come here, he's said he's happy at Castleford, and they're doing far better than we are.
Brough is hardly setting Giants on fire and is a good two years older than Brown, ships well and truly passed.

| Which finger should Cooper pull out ?? The one on the broken hand he played the first 6 weeks with ?
We've some serious problems that come from the coaching set up.
1) Playing players that aren't fit. Look back at the game where Chris Hill came back a month early to play against Leigh. He's not right at all, and still showing the consequences for that. Cooper playing with a busted hand. Christ knows how many hamstring injuries in training - this needs addressing NOW. Ratchford got a hell of a bang 30 minutes into the Leeds game, and disappeared for the rest of it. He'll be carrying that for a couple of weeks no doubt.
2) Halves will improve if you play the same combination for more than 20 minutes.
3) Play your best team in their best positions. No dummy spitting and dropping Patton or Sevellio if they are amongst the best 17 available.

| Why not try Dwyer or Smith at scrum half? They've both got the physique, strength and elusiveness.

Agree with this. If Cooper cannot maintain a high performance with the injury he should not play. That's why we have a squad. Also the squad is to enable rotation when turn around times are considered tight.
God help Smith if we had a Lancashire Cup, John Player Special and Premiership to content with.

I think Cas and Leeds have already agreed a fee at the end of the year loan deal that Cas can trigger if they want him on permanent basis. It's hard not to see that happening now, he seems very happy there.

| sjm must be hearing how hard they are training putting everything into preparation for their next game sometimes playing through injury. They know due to how competitive the sport is so a loss is only down to fine margins and not taking opportunities when they are presented that's what tony says when agar beats him at squash. Tho I think sjm must get that dejavu feeling when smith is talking him through or rugby league games....

| TS will be telling SJM that it is not him or Agar that are giving away penalties, knocking on or being clueless at the end of sets. He will say they are training well and working to the plan and they take on themselves to do differently on game day. Its up to SJM to look at the evidence that we can all see and remind TS that what ever happens on the pitch is his fault good or bad.
If TS can cannot sort it then off he trots and SJM and co have to serve up the next head honcho!
I am guessing that that is exactly what he is doing at this time and he won't make a decision until he has the right guy before too much damage has been done. A loss to Hudds and a loss to Wigan in the CC will see the end of TS.

| Atkins. Lineham Pre 2016 was one of the most prolific wingers in the modern game. He cannot get a pass for love nore money.
Outside Atkins he's about as useful as a Southport coastguard. I feel sorry for him at times. Penny and Riley too. Dont want to be too harsh on Atkins because he has upped his game but he is still a wingers grim reaper.
Sims. The Queen has broke more farts in public than Sims has broken a tackle since being here. He is a great talker and motivator....I'd prefer him to stop talking and start shouting.

| The criticism sims gets annoys me!! He was a prop in the nrl and has performed here as he did in the nrl I would ask how many breaks hill has made in his time alongside sims ??? Sims has been our best prop this year and over his time here probably the most consistantly yet people seem to bemoan his shortfalls and ignore his strengths!!
I think that if ts is still here then questions need to be asked of whose desision it was to keep him on ?? weve been in decline over the last 3 f4 seasons and barring bringingbinnplayers we've done nothing to change our situation
If we end up playing in the million pound game then the challenge cups will be forgotten the lls too and he will be remembered as the guy who nearly got us relegated with one of the most expensively assembled squads in super league not many clubs are playing players they have paid a fee for yet we have lineham Clarke brown and westerman? In our team we've gone and got who smith wants and look at where we are off the back of it !!
Think the truth is smith should have been gone before last season the fact he is still here is a failure in the clubs ability to be as ruthless as is needed to be truely successful over a period of time and are not the big club that we think we are. We failed to progress after our challenge cup successes in recruitment and in on the field performances not only smith to blame for that but the buck stops with him in terms of on the field performances!

You seem confident that we'll actually avoid relegation... have you seen how Widnes have improved with the addition of Chase, and Hudds too? Even Catalans seem to be able to pull some top performances out of the bag.
I haven't seen us look convincing in any game yet. Leeds was our most complete performance, but we didn't know how to kill it off in proper style. Against Saints we capitalised on some silly errors and got a roll on.
With the injuries we now have and the lack of depth we could easily find ourselves back at the bottom within weeks. I hope for our sake the cup doesn't distract us from the real job at hand.
