I know we don't like a sticky rumour thread on here like other forums... However it's now the season of whispers.
A few are popping up on different topics, so as they might get rife over the coming weeks this might be a good place to share if the mods allow.

Not a sensation from me to start us off but....Sims and Gidley both to return to Aus. Savelio allowed to seek a new club.

Savelio was rumoured to have a fall out with smith. down to a respect issue apparently. rumour has it that Savelio asked why Patton had been dropped, smith said it was down to poor form so Savelio said "so why haven't you dropped Brown or Russell then" to which Tony replied in some format "Ok, well that's you dropped an all then."

Just what I've heard anyway. Not saying its true.

Andre has the ability to ruffle feathers anywhere due to his very confident nature and its no surprise that TS has had to take to the measures he has to stem the confident behaviour. On the other hand, Andre is an asset to whoever he plays for. In my opinion he should be knuckling down and working towards earning the contract he so much coverts in the NRL. Being dropped for poor discipline will get him no where near the NRL teams as a youngster. He needs form and needs it quickly and consistently.

He was allegedly offered a contract Snag, apparently 12 month to knuckle down as you said, wasn't good enough.
He has a very close relationship with his agent, who obviously wants the best for the client.

So two big leaders leaving if true... I think Gidley leaving was inevitable due to his age. . But he's not struggled on the fitness front. And Sims has done exactly what I expected of him.... he was never a worldy. ..just solid and a good clubman.

The worry I have is Tony Smith replacing these two with players of an equal or better standard.

Interesting times. ...anyway If nothing else, they are the type of players who would want to go out on a high and not sulk about the place.

So could be good news for the business end of the season.

Do we actually know that Gids and Sims are heading home or is this still rumour?

Well if he does go Sims can hold his head high due to the fact he's given 100% in every game he's played in. He has also done the job he's been asked to do very, very well. A good signing.

Sims wanted a deal and was vocal in so, he wasn't offered one, and has made arrangements for repatriation along with Gidley, allegedly.
