The first real thing that jumps out at you there is Widnes.

The only player they have brought in is Tom Armstrong from Leigh...... its going to be a long season for them.

Also Saints signing Tommy Lee.. each time i see that it makes me laugh.

Castleford seem to have recruited well. I like watching them. I think they were my favorite side to watch last season. Be interesting to see what Eden and Hardaker can bring to them.

I feel that Hull have lost some key players and will struggle to match last seasons exploits.

You could make a strong case for our recruitment being the best.... I also think Wigan have done some great business with Escare coming in.

Prediction- Us and Wigan to be the the top 2 teams with Wigan to win the GF again.

Cas are my second favourite team. But they will miss the Dorn/Solomona back door link.
I was surprised with the lack of new blood at Leeds and Huddersfield.

Me too but then I realise we have re-signed Matty Blythe and the same thing happens.

Other than that, SL has lost a lot of quality (again) and has replaced with gash (again). Quality is poor across the division.

The incentive to develop young players is growing everyday.

Every side has released at least the same number of players than that which it has recruited.
I guess that shows youngsters are stepping up - which is arguably a good thing - or squads are getting thinner (which I doubt)

The pool of available players is beginning to look a bit like a deck of cards that is shuffled every year & each club may be dealt a different hand for the following season.

I think Saints will struggle to hit the top four next season, I think Matty Smith is average and was part of a great system at Wigan. The loss of Jordan Turner and Luke Walsh will be massive. It will be interesting to see how Wigan line up for next year with Tomkins and Escare both being dynamic from the full back position. It will be an interesting season, us and Wigan have both definitely gotten stronger. I think leeds will have a resurgence, the young lads they gave time to last year now have that year of experience under their belt. I think they will be extremely interesting.

you say hull fc have lost key players ? who? maybe frank the tank but in fairness he never set the world alight, pryce never played abdull neither, feka didn't and yeaman plugged a gap for us, we have brought in Kelly who imo a improvement and conner griffen who are good young players, not saying we are gonna rip sl up but imo we have a better squad than last year,my only worry is one or two players getting on a bit, good luck to you next season chaps,

I think Hull will be much better in the backs this season. These are lively lads.

Jake Connor (Huddersfield Giants)
Josh Griffin (Salford Red Devils)
Albert Kelly (Hull Kingston Rovers)

I'm not convinced by Connor, a lot of huff and puff but no regular position

To be fair Sally, this bit was spot on icon_smile.gif
