Flights sorted, hotel booked in Lloret but no transfers yet, does anybody have any contacts re transfers from Lloret to Perpignan and back on match day?

Arsenal Al is doing transfers from Lloret,google Als Tours facebook page and the details are on it.

Aren't there any rail services from Blanes to Perpignan ? Blanes has a station & is only a couple of miles outside Lloret by local ,regular service buses.

Yes, doing 3 nights, flying out to Barca on the Thursday. Hire car to Perpy. Lloret really not my cup o'tea and I wouldn't fancy the transfer back straight after the game.

Yes we do, every year. Did it both times last year and wouldn't stay any where else

Stayed in Perpignan nearly every year except the Barcelona game and once stayed in Carcassone, due to no accommodation in Perpignan. If we go this time will also stay there for the 8th time. Love the place.

From what I remember of visiting Blanes (lovely 'locals' place, pronounced Blah-nez) it is the end of the line from Barcelona, so I guess Blanes to Perpignan by train would mean traveling back down to Barcelona first. Coach transfer (Catalan Sports Tours?) would be a far better, cheaper and probably the quicker option.

We've stayed in Perpy and Canet when we we first started going but ever since have stayed in Spain in various resorts,IMO the choiice of hotels,beaches,nightlife etc is miles better than in Perpignan and its a lot cheaper,were being charged 6euro a pint in most bars last time in Perpy,im sure they ramp up the prices when theres a match on.

Yes, i get your point,the trains in Spain don't always work on a joined up network.
As for staying on the Costa Brava in February , i think anyone planning that shouldn't expect a party atmosphere over there, a lot of the bars will be shut in February. Take your ipad,word search, crossword book. Me & the wife went to Lloret in late March one year & the night life was dire.
