| Would be happy with that, good cover until Currie returns, and then as a good option off the bench, taking Westwoods spot in 2018...

| If Andre signs for us, he stated last week he wasn't, but if he does he will prove to be better than Hughes, Westerman and possibly Currie. Don't forget he has been played at prop where he is a little lightweight a bit like Sims. His position is back row/loose he would be a great acquisition who will come into his own.
With his age along with Currie, Hughes, Westerman, Hill, Crosby (if true) Cooper, Clarke and Patton etc etc we will have a great young team just needs a sprinkle of star dust from real experienced players. Much to look forward to

| Good Signing , Not to sure why we would need him mind.
Top Priority for me would be a monster prop and a centre who can release a winger (Like Gleeson without the issues)

I agree that Currie is one of the best we have had for a while, if Andre had been afforded the same time to develop at Wire he would have been on a par. My worry with Currie is this injury it COULD create further problems for him (and I sincerely hope it doesn't), which would leave him behind in his further development.
My point is not crazy it is different to yours, you and I correct in our view that Currie is special. This guy is easily capable of bettering that.
MD has a valid point, he needs to be in a wire shirt on the back of the Guardian before we believe anything

Quite often players come back from long term injuries and they are not the same player they were.
Richard Owen being a prime example he was very good up till his leg break and after that was never the same again. Owen was also touted as been pretty 'special' at the time as well.
I hope for England's sake this isn't the case if we want to compete with the Aussies we need players like Currie available.

| Those who claim to be in the know at Saints reckon this has happened already. He was telling people at the Grand Final that he's signed for you.
Would seem another daft move by Cunningham, with signing Matty Smith and Tommy Lee to let Savelio go.
Seems to be a lot of movement between Saints/Wigan/Warrington and to be honest it's a little weird. Why did Wigan let Smith go to Saints for nothing? Why would Saints let Savelio go to Wire for nothing? Why Crosby to Warrington for nothing? Why Dwyer to Saints or Wigan as rumoured?
It's like Putin, Barrack and Kim Jong-Un swapping Xbox games and going out for tea. It leaves you feeling a little unsure about the motives.

I have asked that question and the reply was that at the GF he never told anyone who or what was going and I know that from a family member who was with him all day? Wire will have to pay a fee to Stains, he has said that much.
Could it be that the player movements are a move to keep the talent in the area and therefore keep the top teams in the area, lord only knows.

i don't think he has to be better, he just has to be different, which is what he is, i did think earier this year our backrow, whilst good, was a bit samey, so he would be a good bench addition, or an alternate to hughes.
It would be loading from above, sort of, like cullen liked to do.

| Savelio looked good when he played for us in the super 8s.
Worked really well running lines for Rangi on our right edge.
I was hoping we could sign him permanently, but there isn't much chance we'll offer any kind of decent fee.
