Best player on the park last night. Strong defence and carried the ball well. He must have carried it 15 times, plus his link work with the pivots.

Also, a decent kick in the second half too!

Interesting thread as I reckon one of the reasons we have done well this year is the sale of Joe, he is no doubt a good player, but just didn't fit into our style and as a pivot seemed to get on the way and slow our play down. Since he has gone players like Shaul and Sneyd have taken more control and really improved.

Big and exciting game this week, I hope for a ref who lets both teams play and we could be on for a cracking match with a big crowd.

He was my MOTM last night too (I actually thought Ratchford didn't have a good game), Westerman made up for his terrible game against Cas the other week last night.

I too have been very impressed with Westerman thus far, not just his play, but, he seems to have fully committed to the P&B cause with plenty of chat, encouragement and organisation

Joe was excellent, one of his best games so far for us. I don't think he missed a tackle in the middle and gave the opposition some doubt when with ball in hand. Be interesting to see how he goes next week against his old team. Another performance like Saints please Joe!!

It is certainly refreshing to have ball players at 1, 6, 7, 9 and 13 and throw Ben Currie into that too. Joe has been a slow burner for me who is now getting his confidence. Well done Joe.

Still Ratchford with space often runs with the ball in one hand and its infuriating.
Twice in succession knocking on off his own knee. That's why I'd rather have him tighter in play at 6 to curb that bad habit he uses as a fb.

Knocked out by saints players, at least once, and he carries the ball like that no matter what position he plays

On the big screen it looked like his left knee.

Unfortunately, for such an important player as Ratchford you would expect him to respect possession more knowing that a dropped ball can mean the difference between winning & losing.
