| Just for a change, here is a factual thread;
Currie appears to be rapidly closing in on a big milestone, he has 97 appearances for us at the moment, so all being well should hit the ton for the Wigan home game. It seems a bit far fetched but true. He made his debut in 2012 against Widnes when he was still an U20 and has really clocked on since then. I remember Adrian Morley that year saying he would be a future England captain and thinking it was just something to boost his confidence, but it doesn't looked so far fetched anymore. I was also a bit surprised to see that he was our leading try scorer last year with 19 (Joel 17, Penny 16). Don't know how I missed that one.
Perhaps the 62-0 that Wigan suffered yesterday was not their biggest loss in recent years ?

| He's been awesome, The amount of experience he has and his standing within the game (I think Phil Clarke has a schoolyard crush on him) at such a young age is testament to how good he already is and what he could potentially go on to achieve.
Morleys comments were high praise indeed and he may not be far off the mark.

Some interesting comments.....
Couldnt of been that good if we didnt sign him up?
Well its up to him isn't it. Sure our club won't be losing any sleep.
IMO I think this is more to do with Warrington being to lazy scout for their own youth players and when a talented Wigan youngster, is in talks before signing a Pro contract, they will try and get in there with more money. Hopefully will come back to bite them on the harris one day.
If he is a money grabber already he isnt gonna be much good when he grows up or he would of trusted his ability and stayed with the club he supposedly supports
From what I've heard about him, I wouldn't describe him as a 'top prospect'. I'd describe him as an okay player in an okay team.
If thats the reason then good riddance. You have to earn your place in our team, if he doesnt like that he wouldnt get anywhere at Wigan. Considering some people on here who have seen him a few times dont think hes that good then i doubt anybody at the club will be crying about it
The lad has probably weighed up his future options.
Wigan have a plethora of young back row forwards, Hansen, Tomkins, Mossop, Farrell,Tuson and Walker.
Behind them in the U18's they have Bridge, Molloy and Hughes.
He would have to be exceptional to get in ahead of those players.

Not that factual Friday was his 100th game for Wire according to Sky Sports. You undersell him too, he was only 17 when he made his debut. Very talented player, I think the freakish thing about him is how fast he is. Not very common for a second rower to be faster than most wingers!

| Actually his 100th career appearance came against Cas due to international call ups.

| Melbourne Storm were desperate to sign him and thought they had him before he re-signed with Warrington.
