| Well. We lost our 1st game of the season. Let's be honnest. It had too happen sometime. And although I never went too the game. I listened on wire fm. And let's be honnest. We didn't get out of 2nd gear. And although it sounded like we were playing catch up all match. The result considering against a team that is at the moment in the mix for top 6. We Shouldn't be discoraged and if the recovery Is on point. We should be looking at a mammoth top of the league clash against Wigan on Friday when we should be in top gear. All guns blazing.
If we can hang in with a the team mixing it in the top 6. And not get out of 2nd gear. I'm extremely confident and optimistic for the rest of the season when we do have proper recovery with a week in between matches.
Here is a thought. How many other teams played their fiercest rivals on good Friday. But then have a 200 mile round trip 3 days later. With the exception of catalans. I think we may of made the the biggest round trip.

| My beef is that when a Championship contender is 10 points up, getting pegged back and losing is a little hard to swallow!

| What about Hull KR, they has a massive Derby on Good Friday against Hull FC. On Monday they travelled to Wigan in another massive game. More or less the same distance as Wire travelled. It seems a pretty feeble attempt using that as an excuse for a loss to be honest.

| Widnes have it toughest of all. Wigan week before Easter, us on Good Friday, St H on Easter Monday, travel to Catalans next week.

| It had to happen I didn't attend but feel Smith is more worried as to how it happened even allowing for some defensive lapses we didn't take all our chances with one or two poor options, as well as Hull played we should have had enough in us to win but it was Hull that came through on top perhaps doing some of the things Smith expects us to do, five tries scored and a narrow defeat I can't really complain but we have to be smarter as a team but I'm sure the players will be working on that already.

Tough indeed and they don't have the biggest squad, Catalans for desserts no thank you.

| Yes, I looked at the Widnes game sequence a couple of weeks ago and thought it was pretty tough. I don't fancy them to win at Perpignan. But all teams have a difficult two week period to contend with over Easter. We didn't handle our game well at Hull, but tough titty, that's how it goes sometimes.
Personally I have 'parked' any (real or imagined) player deficiencies atm because I am waiting to see how we get on against Wigan and Saints. By then we should have a fairly good idea where we stack up against our major rivals.

| Not worried, we are having the minor brain fart here and there but we look like we can do damage at range this season, I've not known us to do that for a while.
Still early, we were never going to be unbeaten.

| If we had to loose to someone I would rather it be Hull than the thugs, hopefully it will be the kick up the backside we need before Friday . If we were to win Friday it would be a massive confidence boost. It will be hard, but we now know we can't coast through games expecting to win. I think we would of learned a lot from Monday's performance individually and as a team
I've got my ticket, first time to Wigan can't wait ...

| Why the mass panic ? We lost by three conversions to two, that's all. We haven't got 100% accurate goalkickers so the best bit of game management we could probably work on for the future is getting over the line nearer the posts instead of in the corner. How about field kicks towards the sticks instead of the corners for a start & just to vary the game plan.

| Widnes (H)- Hull (a) - Wigan (A) - Saints (h) - Before the season started I ;looked at these fixtures and thought that we might come away form Easter without a point as Widnes have been our pain in the for a few years, Hull away is always tough and Saints Wigan anywhere are never guaranteed 2 points, so I am happy with 2 points out of 4 so far.
