| Apparently facing 8 weeks on the sidelines. Probably leaves Ratchford covering at interchange hooker for a while - At least it answers the question of what we do with him.
Gutted for Dwyer, started the season really well, adds a spark when he comes on. Hopefully 8 weeks is on the side of caution and we could see him back before then.

| Yes and Matt Cook got two matches for it. Daryl Powell was up in arms last year over one of Bennys tackles on Luke Gale even though he played the next game. As indeed he was over the tackle on Shenton. He has been quiet on this one. Didn't hear TS trying to influence the judiciary

Indeed, I always had a high regard for Cas and Powell but I was stood right in front of the incident and Gale milked it IMO (unbiased).
In today's game you might say fair enough about the player, but Powell's rant no thanks.

| You have to laugh really dont you, the way the Cas players went after Ratchford for a totally legimate tackle. Gets put in the bin although i think that was holding down. Nothing wrong with the tackle as Tony Smith said after the game who wasnt happy with the players went for Ratchford. Then Matt Cook takes out one of our players and we dont react....

| Dwyer has made the right call surgery rather than the shorter rehab choice, all sorted in one and out of the way.
It was a pity really as his form was holding up well while having a great game against Cas.

I dont have a problem with Ratchford at dummy half. He will certainly get his hands on the ball often enough and i like some of the quick play the ball runs. As you say it solves the dilemma of what to do with him for a while.

| Just read the update on the website regarding his injury, no brainer having the op was best way to go.

| Have y'all read the disciplinary report ? Cook was disputing the bloody severity of the charge. Yeah I admit I twisted his ankle, he's had to have an operation putting him out for 8 week, but I think you're over reacting.
