| I for one am really encouraged. Yes he was blowing a bit but his kicking was like a breath of fresh air and some of his passing was superb, particularly the deceptive short pass to Ratchford which was featured on the analysis for Penny's 2nd try. He seemed to want to get stuck in tackling and was vocal.
Seeing as he has probably spent 4 days with the team I am encouraged as to what he will offer us.

| Defo gona make a difference, he will be suffering jet lag. And won't be to speed or fitness of super 8 at moment, but his kicking was fantastic, tried different methods, and just seemed to be able to put his foot through the ball with little effort,, great passing and dummies,, he's gona be a game winner next season,,

Jet lag after a week?
Decent start from him, his kicking game generally was good, couple of half breaks, great ball to Ratch for the 2nd try.
We really missed Westwood & Harrison tonight. We had too many out to trouble Leeds tonight.
Leeds however were fantastic, love the style of RL they play, if (when) we don't make the semis, I hope Leeds win the grand final.

It's going to take him longer than a week to adapt to a 9 hour time difference and been fully firing. It takes me longer than that to adapt to 8 hours and I don't do anything even nearly as demanding as playing half back in a top tier RL squad.
Plus, I don't think people are offering excuses as he went well tonight.

| It was just nice to see someone with a natural kicking game. Poor tackling technique but I can forgive that if he comes up with the goods in attack.

I've travelled from Aus a few times. I've never felt jet lag more than a few days. He's not had long to get used to his teammates fair enough - I doubt he's still jet lagged though....?

That's fair. I have pretty terrible sleeping habits in general, but I notice that when I go to and from Washington State I am OK pretty quick but it takes more than a week to adjust my body clock.

They are playing like we did in 2011 and '12. We were the top offloaders throughout that period and were really exciting to watch.
Best form of RL is the exciting offload game. We racked up 1072 points in 2011 and 909 in '12 playing that way.
Any team playing like that is worth getting behind. I wouldn't mind seeing Leeds win it, like you say, when we likely don't make the four (but you never know, stranger things have happened!).

38352_1407962301.jpg Packs Win Games
Great Packs Make All Backs Look Class

| Jet lag is the same as being a shift worker. It takes a couple of days to adjust.
So that wouldn't have effected his game, but however it would have impeded his early training sessions.
That being Sandow has excuses, but the performance of one half of his pack that he plays behind have no feckin excuse whatsoever.
Do unto England and Asotasi what Eels did to Sandow. Feck em both off now. I don't give a hoot if we list every dead rubber from now till season end, so long as it is from a whole trying team, cos me and God both love a team like that.

| Yes, his kicking was very encouraging. Especially the one he put straight out on the full which provided Leeds with the chance to take control of the game, posting a couple of quick scores straight after.
I thought he was sublime. We're all quivering.

Christ man give the bloke a chance , first game for an injury hit team , playing behind a pack that was battered within an inch of its life , just a few days after arriving .
I think all considered it wasn't a bad debut at all . I saw enough to suggest he could be a very good signing indeed .

When is Peyroux's debut?
