Hi I am a regular lurker on this forum and a long term Wire fan. I will be in Huddersfield for the game and it will be my first chance to see the Wolves play live.

I don't arrive in Huddersfield till lunch time game day and I would welcome any advice on how to get tickets and the best place to sit that will put me in with the away fans. I am really looking forward to this one and any advice will be appreciated. Also I want to by a Warrington jersey so is that best bought at the game?

Away fans are in the Chadwick Lawrence (South) Stand. They're £21 in advance but will probably rise a couple of quid on gameday, but you'll have no problem paying on the door. You won't be able to buy a Warrington shirt there I don't think.

If you can't get to Warrington i think you will struggle to get a shirt. I could bring you one from a few years ago if you like free but you will have to send me your mobile number.

If your traveling by train, why not head over to Warrington firstly while you have time on your hands. Nip in the club shop and travel back up with the army of wire fans and mingle. You'll find us all accommodating and we will take you under our wings.

meatymeaty you must pass the simple test to be a wire fan, Q do you hate wigan,widnes and saints?, if your answer is yes(100% yes) your in.

Where will you be based on Saturday? Some places sell a range of SL shirts, if memory serves there is a RL store in Batley.

It goes up to £24 on the day so you may wanna try and get a ticket beforehand or get someone to get one for you, unless you aren't bothered about saving £3.

Alternatively, order a ticket from the Giants website and collect it on arrival, though these will be side on but there's always one or 2 visiting fans in anyway..no segregation.

I will be in the South Stand thankyou Gary and I will probably be the only one dressed in Cowboys members gear so say hello if you see me. Thanks for the kind offer of a Jersey Nine A but I am sure I will find one in a sports store somewhere. Today we are in York so I will start looking.

We stay one night at a van park in Huddersfield, then down to Bakewell for three nights and I hope to get to Warrington on my way back up to Northumberland. Willows I could learn to hate Wigan, Widnes and Saints but not as much as those Manly pricks. Their bottom of the ladder this year so there is a god.

Really looking forward to joining the Wire fans for this one come rainy or not.

Meaty, this post has made my day and along with the feel good factor of a Wigan defeat I'm reviewing my prediction and going for a Wire win although I've only predicted one loss this season.......against Leeds, so what do I know? Nowt ha
