I think last Friday was Clark's best game for us. I fully expect him to really kick on now and give our team a big boost as we enter the big part of the season. Whatever the niggly injury was that he had, it obviously affected his usual game. As he starts to run from dummy half (allied with Sims settling down), we'll be much more on the front foot and there'll be more space for our halves to do what their undoubted ability demands. I'm feeling quite upbeat.

I agree, that and the Leeds game have been his best so far. His link up with Ratchford was fantastic for the try.

It was always going to take time for Clark to settle in to our team people expecting to much to soon. He was at cas since a kid and was a cas fan so it must be hard to move away but he is now starting to play like we know he can and play with a smile on his face

As said above it was always going to take time to settle in..... Maybe even a full season to really hit top form.

If he's had a niggling little injury that he's over we should be seeing more of that freakishly good running from dummy half. Hopefully Myler will be reading that and be on the end of the breaks.

You could see the joy on his face when Ratch went over v Salford. He was always going to take time to settle in so let's hope he's settled now!

It took Paul Aiton a full year to settle in at Leeds and he's far more experienced than Clark. I don't think we'll even see the best of Daryl this season and it'll be next year when we really see his worth...in the meantime let's hope for more of the same over his last few performances which have been decent.

It's not just about settling for Clark, he wasn't a complete player when you signed him. There is a lot he has to learn, playing 9 isn't all about front foot sharpness. He's got to learn how to control games, where to pass and where to scoot and that only comes from experience. Clark currently looks a bit lost when the pack isn't in control of the game.

Easy to forget he is 22!

Think next season will be the time him and simms show their class, think were seeing our transition really actually affecting us and look a little lost summit by 2016 should be just bad memories

Quite. I think some of our fans were expecting too much of Daryl. We were treated to arguably the most complete no.9 since
SL began in Monas. To expect a 22 year old to come in and control a game like he could was far too much to hope for. Like others have said, he is steadily improving and seems to be enjoying his rugby.

At times Monaghan was awesome, but in terms of overall impact you can't put him up with Cunningham, Roby, Newton, Lowes, even Diskin to some degree. Common factor - they all won GFs (multiple in some cases).

Played his best because Dwyer showed him up in my opinion, Dwyer in one game played 10 times better then Clark has all year.

I'm not having newton or diskin ahead of Monas don't care what they've won.
