See the club are petitioning the fans before deciding which day they will play the majority of home matches. I suppose if you live in Warrington and have nothing better to do on a Friday, it might be OK, but for me personally living 100 mile away, it would be a right chew on trying to get to Warrington after work and then not getting home until midnight. Plus I think the away fans travelling on a Friday night would fall, especially from Yorkshire. I understand that this is all to fit in with the Sky schedule and that they call the tune that we arsupposed to play, but all in all I think I would prefer match day to remain on a Sunday. What does everyone else think?

I'm a Sunday man myself but to cut down on all the disruption I would go with Fridays, Fridays perhaps being more practical for the team, I can make both, Fridays could cause problems but a rigidly adhered to fixture list would have benefits.

Couldn't agree more. What is the point in making match day an Event! If played on a Friday its a case of just get to the game rather than anything going on around the game.
I also feel that moving to a Friday eve is a little short sighted, we have since summer rugby introduced the game to lots of new kids, these kids had been brought along on a Sunday game and now they are full time fans. Sorry but most of the new kids are going to miss out, most kids under 10 are not going to be brought to games on a Friday eve. We miss out on all the merchandise these kids get from families.

First choice for me would be Saturday tea time like Catalans have. Summer rugby with a decent Saturday afternoon beer garden and a night out afterwards and no work the next day...perfect!

Next choice Friday nights with the atmosphere under the lights.

Sunday's are fine.

Thursday's I don't bother with, too busy in work to get to the game in time.

If they go for Friday night, the family element will be shot to buggery. Will be replaced by people who have been getting beered up before the game, then will get beered up after the game. If they keep to Sunday, they will keep the family element.

Me personally, I don't mind either to be honest.

Saturday 6pm for me . Can't believe that the club haven't even considered that option .

You are aware that the club hosts private functions throughout the year? Weddings etc.

Better for corporate/hospitality on a Friday night, I also prefer going to the game on a Friday night and feel the atmosphere is better than the funeral feel of a sunday.
