| anyway... moving on
always a tough place to go, but usually because of the heat... were usually here bang in the middle of summer, but this time its in Feb....forecast is 13 and cloudy..... should be a bit of a leveler.
Defense has been superb so far this season.. we shouldn't see many changes from the st George game.... Ratchford probably comes back in at 1..
A win here sets us up nicely for a run at the top of the table...... with 2 relativity easy home fixtures coming up against Hull KR and Leeds followed by our anuual walk in the park at saints, its looking like an uncharacteristically good start to the season

| I'm positive about getting a result on Saturday. You hear that, I'm POSITIVE!!! Had a good run out against St George, Catalans have had the week off, should be a good game. Shame i've not got the funds to make the trip over.

| Yes this should be an interesting match, I am hoping to watch it on Sky. Les cats have two of their best players sidelined after suspension following the Castleford game. From the way Tony Smith was talking on video after the St G game, England (elbow) is out, Ratchford is doubtful, and Rhys Evans (shoulder) could also miss out. I don't think the loss of England is a problem as we have Roy Asotasi and Ben Evans available. Plus we have Bridge and Matty Russel who could come back as well (- Smith seems to be bringing Bridge back very cautiously).
I know TS reads every comment on here each week before deciding on the squad, so can I just say that I would really like to see Wheels starting the game and getting a full 80 minutes. I am beginning to think he may be the second best player that Saints have given us over the past 20 years. Many thanks.

This would be my team providing everyone is fit. If Rhys evans misses out monaghan to wing and Atkins to centre, but assuming no injuries that's the 17 I think is currently our strongest.

| No Ratch, Evans or Myler i'm hearing...so will be tough. Personally id bring Russell back in. Wheeler or bridge to 6. GOB to 7. Then Penny and Monas on wings, with Atkins and Wheeler/bridge in centres.

Heard last weekend that Evans and very possibly Ratchford were not flying out to France. Matty was.
I heard that Wheeler was brought in to put pressure upon the hb's.
Even though Myler's kicking game was pants last week, I thought he may have just done enough to have earned TS benefit of the doubt for starting at 7.
Personally I would prefer Bridge at 6 but if Myler is to be dropped, it looks more natural to put Bridge in a right centre as Wheeler is more comfortable on the left, a like for like exchange.

| Thaler's the referee again. So, that coupled with the French having a reputation for taking peoples heads off...... we could pick up a few more injuries this weekend.
