What was the old Nightclub called in Warrington called, where the Eastern Orient Chinese Buffet is now?

I'm talking early 90's, it had 3 tiers (levels) inside.

Boulevard.
Plenty of all day sessions on a Saturday afternoon in there. If you sat at the top you could serve yourself because all the bar staff were at the bottom levels.
The lengths poor students would go to to get a few free beers.

That Chinese buffet has gone way down hill imo.
easy garlic put in everything, it's so smelly strong now it can be smelt on Scotland Road in the car!
it got marked down on hygiene to not so long back.

What year did it become Edisons?

A lad in work rates it highly, and says it's now under new ownership since the hygiene problems.

You know what you're getting with buffet restaurants really.

Well it stank my vehicle out again this afternoon with easy garlic odours when I drove down Scotland Road.

Couldn't pay me to go in, I can't stand these buffet places and Nandos etc.

If you get on a bus which has been parked up on Scotland Road it reeks of the place!

haha.. had a few top nights/days in there in my teens.

boulevard, time square, 2nd ave, beerkeller the sportspage... that was a night in town when i was about 16 trying to pass off as 18

The smell of the place knocks me sick when l walk past.

The Boulevard was a top place on a Friday and all day/night on a Saturday. Always thought it had an edge to it that no other places in town had.

Was also the first pub in town that i got into, just after my sixteenth birthday.

£1 a pint Thursday's with dance classics was my favourite before making the long walk to smiths before 11pm for free entry !
